New foster puppies!

These little guys are Reese, Riley, Corey, and Charlotte.  They're tiny 8 week old hound puppies.  They were found on the side of the road and turned into Amelia animal control.  Amelia didn't have any space for them and they were living in a tiny crate all together, so we snatched them up!  They have already had one shot and are now available for adoption.
I know I went a little overboard on the pictures, but they're just so cute!

Its like the dog whisperer...

I'm pretty sure they think Peanut is their mom

Last days with the foster pups

All three puppies now found their forever homes.  Last weekend Macy found her home with a very sweet momma and three little boys all under the age of 6!  Cooper was just beginning to learn to the routine around here and had become Peanut's shadow when he found his forever home this Wednesday.  Cooper has a 6 week old lab puppy and a 9 year old boy as his new brothers, along with 3 acres of land to play on.
Some sweet pictures of our Cooper the day before he went to his new home...

Transport July 17th

This week 54 dogs and cats got transported to safety.  We transported big fat boy Clarence and some kitties.  Other pictures are some other sweet dogs from the transport.

New foster puppies

Last week I saw these puppies listed as "urgent" on the Appomattox pound website and wanted to take them in.  I called Ann to see if Angel Dogs would sponsor them and of course she said yes.  So we transported them from southwest VA and now have them as foster puppies =)
They were listed on the website as lab mixes... but I can't figure out what they're really mixed with.  All are available for adoption through Angel Dogs.

More pictures coming soon! ...

Shelter transport 7/3

Some 4th of july babies who made it to safety this weekend...

I fell in love with these lab sisters Sally and Sophie- coming from Laurens Co. Animal Control and going to Nice Dog Rescue in NJ.  They were so happy to just be outside and they were the sweetest labs I've ever met.

Little Cody and Curtis were two of our passengers.  Coming from Newberry County Animal Control and going to an independent rescuer.

Sweet Lacy slept on my lap wrapped up in a blanket.  Lacy's 6 puppies are already at Delaware Puppy Rescue and now she's going to meet them up there.

While we were handing over dogs at the stop in Richmond someone stopped and asked us if we were going to a dog show with all those sweet puppies.... well, sort of ;)

Adopted!

All of our sweet puppies have been adopted out to some great homes and it sure is quiet around here now.  Bear and Zoe are pals and they got to be adopted together.  Here are some pictures from our last few days with them.

They love going for a ride in the box.
