Adopted!

All of our sweet puppies have been adopted out to some great homes and it sure is quiet around here now.  Bear and Zoe are pals and they got to be adopted together.  Here are some pictures from our last few days with them.

6/5 Shelter transport

70+ (!!!) dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from SC and NC made it to safety this weekend on the transport.  There was a special group of beagles last weekend and this weekend who went from a cruelty case to a gassing shelter and are now finally safe.
Just as we were meeting up with the drivers from the previous leg in Richmond the skies opened up and gave us some hurricane weather.  Everyone was SOAKED by the time we made it into our cars =)

Here were our passengers for the week...
"Luigi" (2 year old cocker spaniel) coming from Henderson, NC shelter and going to Mutts n' More in NJ.  Luigi sat on my lap and COVERED me in his long pretty hair.
Update... Luigi got adopted!

"Orbit and Slick " (coonhound puppies) coming from SC and also going to Mutts n' More in NJ.  Puppies aren't allowed down on the ground during transport so we let them run around in the back of the truck once we got to Fredericksburg.
